Requirements:

Programming experience in at least one scripting language, ideally Bash, Perl or Python
Very good Linux and network knowledge, familiar with command line handling
Experience with Icinga, Puppet, Hiera, Linux KVM, Git, Facter, Ansible or MySQL desirable
Fully versed in the use of monitoring, switches, routers, firewalls and loadbalancers
Several years of experience in similar environments

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Plan, design and maintain our intercontinental network in six locations worldwide
Optimize our datacenter packet switching infrastructure for reliability, low latency and throughput
Keep our network safe with OpenBSD firewalls and connect to customers over leased lines and VPN
Extend and develop automated network configuration tools using 100% open source software (e.g. ansible, python)
Assist the team by taking part in a rotating on-call system (about one week in five, fully compensated)
Help with maintaining our ~600 Linux servers (Debian 12, CentOS 8)
Broaden your skills by learning technologies like Kubernetes and Puppet
